Offsite Access

Database Access Off Campus

In order to login from off campus, you will need to enter the barcode number that appears on your CTU ID card as well as your last name. If you have not checked out books from the library before, you will need to register your ID card in the library at the Circulation Desk before logging into library databases from off campus.

Access to the library from off campus is available to CTU faculty, students and staff. If you are a student from an ACTS school but are registered for a CTU class, please contact Deborah Winarski to obtain a username and password to register for off-campus access to the library for the semester.

An A-Z list of databases is available, or search the library’s catalog to explore the entire collection, including individual e-books and online videos.

A few library databases are also available through dedicated apps for mobile devices. Gale Virtual Reference Library is available on an iPhone/iPad app, and EbscoHost is available for iPhone/iPad and Android devices.

Alumni Access to Databases

If you are a graduate of CTU there are three databases you may access via these links: ATLAS for Alums, JSTOR, and Project Muse. Please contact Alumni Coordinator Bernadette Raspante to receive the username and password information for these databases.
